Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission seeks a highly skilled Competency Restoration Services Coordinator to lead curriculum development and statewide implementation for adults and youths in custody. You will provide expert consultation, create educator guides, and help ensure fidelity to statute, policy, and best practices.

You will coordinate trainings across hospitals, SHCs, LMHAs, and contracted providers, while advancing evidence-based restoration models and statewide education

Qualifications

• Master's degree required with at least 3 years in forensic mental health.
• Licensure preferred: LCSW, LPC, or similar.
• Experience developing and evaluating curricula and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide competency restoration curriculum development and training.
• Provide advanced technical assistance to hospitals, LMHAs, and providers.
• Respond to inquiries on curriculum, statutes, and policy guidance.
• Develop educational materials, facilitator guides, and assessments.
• Coach providers to maintain implementation fidelity and quality.
• Evaluate practices and monitor training effectiveness statewide.
