Job summary

Nevada Office of Emergency Management is seeking a Program Officer III to act as the State 9-1-1 Coordinator. The role oversees the statewide NG9-1-1 deployment, coordinates with PSAPs and stakeholders, and manages program budgets and fiscal planning.

The incumbent will facilitate PSAP meetings, lead interagency coordination, and serve as a liaison during emergencies with NV EOC. Travel across Nevada is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience planning or administering a program with laws and regulations.
• Experience developing program policy and procedures.
• Experience implementing performance standards and eligibility requirements.
• Experience working with 9-1-1 systems or public safety technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the State 9-1-1 Coordinator for the Nevada OEM.
• Administer statewide 9-1-1 program and NG9-1-1 deployment.
• Arrange PSAP meeting logistics, agendas, and minutes; facilitate calls and meetings.
• Support NV EOC activation and provide 24/7 response during emergencies.
• Manage fiscal aspects: budget, surcharge revenues, and expenditures.
