Qualifications

• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program standards for emergency communication staff including training, certification, and QA.
• Develop inspection processes and review certification reports for PSAP compliance.
• Provide statewide technical assistance, audits, and guidance on 911 QA and operations.
• Evaluate county 911 system plans for alignment with agency requirements.
• Support grant funding programs by reviewing grants and monitoring progress.
• Perform duties during emergencies, including extended or unusual hours.
