The Laurels of Mt. Vernon in Ohio is hosting an Open House for State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) on March 24 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Attendees will learn about on-site opportunities, sign-on bonuses, 12-hour shifts, and comprehensive benefits.

We offer free scrubs, a free lunch with orientation, and on-the-spot offers with immediate start for qualified STNAs. High school diploma and STNA certification are required.

Responsibilities:

As an STNA, you will care for guests under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Responsibilities include:

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height and weight, intake, and output.
• Care for the guests’ environment.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with eating and hydration.
• Observe guests’ skin when administering care and reports changes to a licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed.
• Meet guests’ mental health and social service needs.

Qualifications
