The Laurels of Mt. Vernon is hosting an Open House Hiring Event on February 10 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 13 Avalon Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050. State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) are invited for on-the-spot interviews and possible same‑day offers.

Sign-on bonus of $3,000 and free scrubs are offered along with a fast hiring process and opportunities to meet leadership and get hired the same day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• STNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.

As an STNA, you will care for guests under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Responsibilities include:

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height and weight, intake, and output.
• Care for the guests’ environment.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with eating and hydration.
• Observe guests’ skin when administering care and reports changes to a licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed.
• Meet guests’ mental health and social service needs.
