Job summary

The Laurels of Mt. Vernon is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for night shifts (7pm-7am) at our Mount Vernon, Ohio facility.

You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to care for our guests with patience, empathy, and dedication. Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.
• Care for the guests’ environment.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with eating and hydration.
• Observe guests’ skin and report changes to nursing staff; provide skin care as needed.
• Meet guests’ mental health and social service needs.
