Job summary

Boston Collegiate Charter School in Dorchester, MA seeks a contractor to support state reporting and data analysis. The role will train the IT and Data Manager on PowerSchool for all state data reporting needs and ensure timely completion of reports such as SIMS, EPIMS, SSDR and Civil Rights.

The position is hourly, not to exceed 10 hours per week, non-exempt, reporting to the COO. Ideal candidates have 5+ years IT and data analysis experience and Massachusetts charter school experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT and data analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Admin, or related field.
• Previous experience in a Massachusetts Charter School is required.
• Deeply understand school state reporting and PowerSchool and has the ability to train on the intricacies of both;
• Requires acceptable results of background check according to Boston Collegiate Charter School policy and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Train the IT and Data Manager on how to use PowerSchool for all state data reporting needs;
• Train the IT and Data Manager on how to complete reports for state compliance, such as the SIMS, EPIMS, SSDR and Civil Rights as well as others and ensure successful completion within deadlines; and
• Serve as thought-partner and coach on internal school-based data analysis.
