Job summary

Qualifications

• Student Information System experience.
• MA DESE Security Portal / Reporting System.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and relational database technologies (MS SQL).
• Data extraction, reporting, and analysis tools.
• Be detail-oriented and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Communicate clearly both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the District’s Student Information System (PowerSchool) Administrator, maintaining all aspects of the database system.
• Train staff on proper PowerSchool data entry procedures and the use of reporting tools.
• Write custom queries, reports, and data exports as needed.
• Ensure the integrity of student academic records by creating documentation and developing effective processes to facilitate database use.
• Facilitate the accurate transmission of this data for state and federal reporting (including SIMS, EPIMS, SCS, SSDR, and CRDC).
• Support all buildings in scheduling, grade input, and reporting, as well as data rollover for new school year.
