Maryland Department of Natural Resources – Maryland Park Service is seeking a State Park Ranger Supervisor to oversee a small park facility, supervise staff and coordinate visitor services, maintenance, and programming. The role may require weekend and holiday work and outdoor duties in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Eight years of overall experience, plus four in park/natural resources management, or related program development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of a state park and supervise staff.
• Interpret park rules and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate budgets, grants, revenue, and procurement.
• Provide site supervision and training to staff and volunteers.
• Manage visitor services, maintenance, and concessions.
• Weekend/holiday work and outdoor duties in varied weather.
