Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Maryland Park Service seeks a State Park Ranger II to interpret park rules, coordinate programs and assist visitors with resources across the state.

The role involves outdoor and indoor duties, potential evenings/weekends/holidays, and supervision of seasonal staff as needed. Candidates should meet minimum qualifications and be able to work statewide.

Qualificações

• Six years of experience in forest or park management and two years in related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience may substitute for part of the required experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute five years of the required experience.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and apply park rules to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate forest and park programs; inform visitors of resources.
• Provide guidance to seasonal staff and volunteers; no direct supervision.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed; travel across the state.
