Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an Infrastructure Solution Consultant to drive field sales for Data Center solutions in the Education market. You will collaborate with customers, sales teams, and partners to design and deliver tailored data center solutions that solve complex business challenges for State and Local Government.

This highly consultative role requires technical knowledge, solution-selling skills, and the ability to engage from practitioners to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven success leading and winning complex server, storage, and/or networking solutions in Data Center environments.
• 8+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
• Independently identify, develop, and close new opportunities for SLG customers within the territory.
• Coordinate the completion of technical aspects of RFPs and proposal responses; lead demos and interoperability discussions.
