Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an Infrastructure Solution Consultant to drive field sales for the Data Center portfolio in the Education market in California. This highly customer-facing, consultative role requires strong technical knowledge and solution-selling skills, and collaboration with customers, sales teams, and ecosystem partners.

The position is remote on PST with regular travel up to 50% and involves designing, positioning, and delivering tailored Data Center solutions that meet complex business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field.
• 8+ years of proven success leading and winning complex server, storage, and/or networking solutions in Datacenter environments.
• 8+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
• Independently identify, develop, and close new opportunities for SLG customers within the territory.
• Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across multiple product sets.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and solution content to a broad customer audience.
• Design and position Data Center solutions that align Lenovo mainstream products, services, and partner technologies to customer business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate the completion of technical aspects of RFPs, RFIs and proposal responses.
• Lead configurations, demonstrations, and interoperability discussions to meet customer requirements.
• Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments.
• Represent Lenovo at industry trade shows, events, seminars, and customer briefings.
• Responsible for accurate tracking in MS Dynamics and utilizing BI tools.
