Keystone Distinction Group seeks an Audit Director with a State and Local Government specialization for a fast track to Partnership in a hybrid Los Angeles office. The role emphasizes high client service, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver governmental audits.

Responsibilities include leading engagements, signing attest opinions when serving as engagement partner, mentoring staff, driving business development, and ensuring timely, compliant deliverables while maintaining

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting and a minimum of 2 years in a senior manager position, with significant public sector experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and CPA licensure.
• Ability to travel to client and firm locations.
• Proven ability to bring in new business and lead audits in line with GAGAS and GAAS.
• Experience auditing government and not-for-profit organizations.

Responsabilités

• Maintains contact with clients year-round and builds strong client relationships.
• Leads engagements or reports to the engagement partner and signs attest opinions when assigned.
• Oversees all phases of engagements and ensures deliverables comply with GAAP, GAGAS, GAAS and firm policy.
• Identifies issues and presents solutions after partner consultation.
• Mentors staff, conducts performance evaluations, and participates in recruitment for Assurance candidates.
• Drives business development and client meetings, including fee estimates and proposals.
• Ensures appropriate billing/collections and firm-policy compliance.
