H.T. Prof Executive Search seeks an Audit Director specializing in State & Local Government for a fast track to Partnership. Hybrid work arrangement with relocation assistance available. You will lead engagements, sign attest opinions, and manage staff while strengthening client relationships.

You’ll bring a deep background in public sector audits, GAAS/Yellow Book, and government accounting. Travel to client sites and office locations is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting and a minimum of 2 years in a senior manager position, with significant experience in the public sector including auditing state and local governments.

Responsabilités

• Maintain client relationships throughout the year and understand client operations and control systems.
• Sign attest opinions as engagement partner or report to the engagement partner.
• Oversee all phases of engagement work and ensure deliverables comply with GAAP and policy.
• Lead, train, and evaluate staff; manage staffing and scheduling for engagements.
• Develop new business and participate in client meetings to generate fees and expand the client base.
