Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least five years of experience in public accounting - specifically in the public sector including auditing state and local governments.
• Holds a current and valid CPA license.
• Proficiency with GASB standards, GAAS, GAAP and Uniform Guidance.
• Experience conducting audits of not-for-profit organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple auditing and accounting engagements and client engagements simultaneously.
• Schedule, staff, and coordinate engagement workflow.
• Develop and train staff; participate in business development.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate with engagement Directors/Partners.
• Lead reviews of financial statements and client deliverables.
