Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an Audit Director with a State & Local Government specialization to join its progressive CPA firm. The role offers a fast track to Partnership and a hybrid work environment, with relocation assistance available.

The Director manages multiple auditing engagements, mentors staff, and maintains strong client relationships. Travel to client sites is expected as needed; leadership in business development and staff training is required.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting with leadership roles.
• Minimum 2 years in a senior manager position, with government sector focus.
• CPA license required and willing to travel to client offices.
• Experience with auditing in government environments (GAGAS/Yellow Book) and GAAS.
• Not-for-profit/public sector audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing client relationships throughout the year.
• Serve as engagement partner or report to partner as required.
• Sign attest opinions when acting as engagement partner.
• Oversee engagement planning, staffing and quality control.
• Develop staff and contribute to business development for the firm.
