Job summary

The State of Florida, Division of State Human Resource Management, is seeking a State Workforce Policy Consultant based in Tallahassee, FL. The role analyzes workforce and organizational needs, develops HR policy, and provides technical assistance to agency partners on complex personnel matters.

This on-site position requires researching HR issues, preparing executive materials, monitoring compliance, and supporting statewide HR initiatives across classification, compensation, and organizational

Qualifications

Four years of professional HR experience or equivalent bachelor's degree substitution.
Experience interpreting statutes, rules, and policies.
Experience researching, writing, and coordinating reports and executive briefings.
Knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act and federal employment regulations.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with diverse audiences.
Proficiency with office software and ability to learn advanced business tools like Smartsheet and Visio.
