Job summary

Direct Care & Treatment seeks an Energy Manager to lead the development, implementation, and coordination of the Energy Management and Sustainability Program for all department facilities. The role drives energy efficiency initiatives at the statewide level and ensures alignment with state sustainability goals.

The position requires onsite presence at 3200 Labore Rd, Vadnais Heights, with telework options limited and eligible in Minnesota proximity guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in facility construction or facility management with HVAC/Electrical focus.
• Must demonstrate project management skills (planning, organizing, monitoring).
• Knowledge of sustainability practices for construction/operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel for documents and reports.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate the DCT Energy Management and Sustainability Program statewide.
• Lead retro-commissioning projects and energy-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state policies, laws and executive orders.
• Collaborate with facilities and operations teams to improve energy efficiency.
