Job summary

Michaels Energy is seeking an accomplished Senior Program Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of utility energy efficiency programs in the Midwest. This role offers significant autonomy to shape program strategy, own financial and operational performance, build strong utility client relationships, and lead cross-functional delivery teams.

Remote or hybrid within the Midwest, with opportunities to work from our offices in Chicago (IL), Cedar Rapids (IA), Minneapolis (MN), or La Crosse (WI).

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience leading complex programs or portfolios.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio strategy, financials, budgets, forecasts, and commitments.
• Develop program strategies, scopes of work, and staffing plans.
• Lead client relationships and strategic partnerships with utility clients.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, outreach, marketing, and operations.
