Job summary

Lexia Informatics Inc. is seeking a State Solutions Account Executive to lead relationships with state Departments of Education. This remote role focuses on policy insight, sales leadership, and adoption of Lexia’s literacy solutions at the state level.

You will cultivate key state relationships, manage full sales cycles, and collaborate cross-functionally to forecast opportunities. Travel up to 50% is required as needed to engage state partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in state-level education agencies, sales, policy, or leadership roles is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of state education policy, funding mechanisms, and government operations.
• Proven success in sales, particularly in navigating complex sales cycles and securing education-related contracts at the state level.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Outreach & Relationship Management with state Departments of Education.
• Drive full sales cycle for state-level opportunities, including planning, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Develop and deliver presentations communicating Lexia's value and research-based solutions.
• Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Government Relations.
