Job summary

Ad Hoc LLC seeks an experienced Capture Manager to drive growth for federal opportunities across the lifecycles of qualification to proposal. You’ll collaborate with Growth, solution architects, pricing, contracts, and delivery teams in a remote-friendly, nationwide setup.

The role emphasizes developing capture plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering competitive strategies. Strong communication and organization are essential for success in a dynamic, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience supporting or managing capture activities within federal government contracting.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across business development, capture, or proposal lifecycle.
• Experience supporting federal RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, or similar procurement activities.
• Working knowledge of federal acquisition processes and government contracting.
• Understanding of common federal contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost-Plus).
• Familiarity with GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and other federal contract vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manages capture activities for assigned federal opportunities from qualification through transition to proposal.
• Develops and maintains capture plans using established processes and best practices.
• Coordinates cross-functional pursuit teams and ensures milestones and deliverables stay on track.
• Provides regular updates to Growth and leadership on capture progress, risks, and mitigation needs.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to develop solutions addressing customer needs and competitive positioning.
• Supports identification of teaming partners and coordinates teaming activities.
• Contributes to RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and other federal procurement activities.
