Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Startup Operations team member (SET Ops) to serve as a setup consultant for new Dedicated Transportation Solutions startups, training drivers and managers, and assisting with process documents and system testing.

The role requires extensive travel (75–80%) to locations nationwide for defined periods, with strong prioritization, task management, and decision-making skills for fast-paced startup environments.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
• One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required.
• Logistics industry knowledge advanced required.
• Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations. advanced required.
• Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components. intermediate required.
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required.

Responsabilités

• Startup-focused team executing flawless operations and meeting customer critical success factors.
• Ensure drivers and managers understand core operations and tracking systems (compliance, driver pay, billing).
• Act as management arm to answer questions and make quick startup decisions.
• Train new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group.
• Build out process flows and ensure consistency of operations.
