Job summary

DHL Supply Chain seeks an Implementation General Manager to lead startup operations and the transition to full operation within our Technology sector. The role requires GM-level or Senior Operations Manager experience with full P&L ownership and startup implementation success.

The position involves close collaboration with customers, Operations, Engineering, Finance, HR, IT, and other teams to ensure ramp plans, KPI stabilization, and financial targets are achieved. Travel ~80% is expected.

Qualifications

• GM or Sr. Ops mgr with P&L ownership required
• Proven full P&L accountability and financial stewardship
• Experience building strong site culture and high-performing teams
• Experience with Tier 1 WMS solutions (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or comparable)
• Direct customer interaction and relationship management
• Ability to travel ~80%

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of implementation success through achievement of planned operating volumes, labor productivity targets, service levels, quality metrics, financial objectives, and customer commitments.
• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive implementation plans with milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
• Identify gaps and risks in the operating model and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Develop site startup staffing strategies, onboarding, and training programs for launch and ramp-up.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Utilize WMS and technology to track inventory and drive improvements.
• Prepare and analyze reports on performance, inventory, and KPIs for decision-making.
• Lead customer relationships with daily contact to ensure satisfaction and expectations.
• Responsible for the site's P&L and financial targets.
• Present MBR/QBR to customers leveraging collaboration.
