Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Implementation General Manager to lead start-up operations within our Technology sector. You will drive launch through ramp-up and transition to operations, owning P&L and collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

The role emphasizes start-up implementations, customer onboarding, and ensuring KPI stabilization in a fast-paced environment with significant travel. Strong leadership and WMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• General Manager level experience or Senior Operations Manager with full P&L ownership.
• Proven full P&L management experience with financial accountability.
• Experience building and developing strong site culture and high-performing teams.
• Experience with Tier 1 WMS solutions (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or comparable enterprise systems).
• Experience working directly with customers and managing customer relationships.
• Ability to travel approximately 80%.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of implementation success through achievement of planned operating volumes, labor productivity targets, service levels, quality metrics, financial objectives, and customer commitments.
• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive implementation plans, including milestones, critical path activities, resources, dependencies, risk mitigation, and customer deliverables.
• Identify gaps, risks, and implementation challenges within the operating model and coordinate resolution with stakeholders.
• Develop site startup staffing strategies, organizational structures, hiring plans, onboarding schedules, and training programs for launch and ramp-up.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operations to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation and technology to track inventory, monitor performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics for decision-making.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's P&L, directly influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customers, leveraging strong collaboration.
