SpaceX in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Starlink to drive electro-mechanical assembly and test processes from concept to full production. You will own the link between engineering development and production, ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and cost targets.

You will collaborate with mechanical design, lead prototype builds, and optimize tooling, automation, and flow to meet high-volume milestones while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience in a professional, project, or student setting.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes.
• Collaborate with the mechanical design team to optimize for manufacturability.
• Lead prototype builds with milestone-driven production development.
• Ensure manufacturing systems meet high-volume rate, cost, and quality targets.
• Lead facilities development, floor layout, headcount, and material flow definitions.
• Identify tooling/hardware requirements and implement into production processes.
• Identify automation opportunities and evaluate ROI for each initiative.
• Work with internal resources or vendors to develop and deploy solutions on the production line.
