Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Manager for the licensed Starbucks café inside a Macy’s store. You will lead daily operations, drive sales and profitability, and foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture while upholding Starbucks and Macy’s standards.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, customer service excellence, food safety, and budget adherence. You’ll collaborate with district leadership to align on strategy and goals, while maintaining a safe and engaging workplace.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in retail/restaurant/food service management.
• ServSafe certified or state/local food handler permit.
• Must be able to obtain Starbucks certifications for licensed leaders within intro period.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cafe operations to meet brand, quality, and health standards.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop Supervisors and Baristas.
• Deliver exceptional customer service per Starbucks and Macy’s standards.
• Ensure food and beverage quality, presentation, and compliance.
• Develop schedules and labor plans to optimize productivity and costs.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and invoices to control costs.
• Review financial reports to meet sales, expense, and profit goals.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Oversee cash handling and POS operations in line with policies.
• Collaborate with Macy’s leadership and Starbucks District Managers.
