Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. You will operate material handling equipment, move pallets, and ensure accurate placement of goods in the storage system, maintaining safety and GMP standards.

The role requires standing, walking, and lifting repeatedly, with exposure to cooler, freezer and dry areas. 6+ months of warehouse experience is preferred, with post-offer background checks and drug tests typical.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, reach truck.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory from staging areas.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock and ensure accuracy.
