Job summary

Performance Foodservice seeks a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move freight safely and efficiently within our distribution center. You will operate forklift and pallet jack, stock inventory, and ensure GMP and safety standards are met. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting in a multi-temperature environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience with forklift standup/reach included.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds, up to 60–90 pounds depending on location, and work in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets with forklift or manually.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock and rotate stock by date.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Inspect pallets for damage and maintain safe operation.
• Follow safety policies and complete required paperwork at end of shift.
