Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move goods through our distribution flow, using a forklift, pallet jack, or reach truck as required. You will ensure safety, GMP compliance, and accuracy while supporting timely replenishment and staging for orders.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of warehouse experience, with the ability to lift up to 90 pounds occasionally and work in multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Ability to work overtime and mandatory schedule.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly through shift.

Responsibilities

• Locate slots on storage racks and place pallets with forklift or hand stack.
• Transport freight to storage areas and replenish pick slots daily.
• Move stock to appropriate areas and perform safety checks and paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and report unsafe conditions.
