Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Machine Tooling Stamping (MTS) Program Manager to lead tooling and manufacturing initiatives from concept through launch. You will drive process definition, sequencing, material flow and human factors while ensuring program milestones are met.

Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and plant operations to maintain timing, deliverables and integration of equipment and systems that enable high-quality stamped components.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing projects.
• Ability to understand and assess complex Engineering issues.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Office suite.
• Ability to multi-task, supporting several projects with various priority levels.
• Strong organization skills – managing Information from multiple locations and sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling and manufacturing program management from concept through launch.
• Collaborate across headquarters, common plants, and manufacturing operations.
• Conduct part run-off and buyoff processes for customers.
• Provide technical direction to the MTS engineering group.
• Develop and maintain an integrated program schedule with milestones.
• Maintain vendor contacts and oversee supplier activities.
