Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Illinois seeks a Stamping Press Room Manager to lead day-to-day production in the press room, ensuring schedules, product quality, and on-time deliveries meet customer standards at minimal cost.

The role directs supervisors and stamping teams, drives continuous improvement, enforces safety, and coordinates with support functions to maintain efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of stamping/press room leadership experience.
• Experience with IATF/ISO requirements.
• New Program Launch experience required.
• Solid understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises Production Supervisors, Shift Superintendent and stamping team to meet schedules.
• Ensure production, quality and plant safety standards are met.
• Monitor processes to ensure timetables and objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate with materials, quality, accounting and personnel to avoid production interruptions.
• Meet established production goals and determine production schedules.
• Identify, implement and verify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Enforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with quality control standards.
• Motivate team, delegate authority, and drive results.
