Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of stamping/press room leadership experience.
• New Program Launch experience required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Manufacturing experience including supervisory experience.
• Experience with IATF / ISO requirements.
• Effectively and professionally communicate.
• Solid understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing methodologies and proven track record of implementation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision making ability.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises Production Supervisors, Shift Superintendent and all stamping operations team members to ensure correct, timely completion of production and delivery schedules.
• Responsible for meeting production, quality and plant safety objectives.
• Monitors processes to ensure timetables are met.
• Works with support personnel to ensure materials, quality, and personnel needs are met to avoid production interruptions.
• Responsible for meeting established goals.
• Evaluates production requirements and determines schedules.
• Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities.
• Follows work-in-process to ensure progress and quality.
• Maintains safe work practices and enforces safety rules.
• Assists in training and development of production personnel.
