Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Stamping Press Room Manager to direct all production activities in the press room, leading day-to-day operations to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.

You will supervise supervisors and stamping team, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety, and align with ISO/IATF requirements while building a high-performance team. This on-site role demands strong leadership, communication, and data-driven decision making to deliver reliable production

Qualifications

• 5+ years stamping/press room leadership experience.
• New program launch experience required.
• Manufacturing leadership with supervisory roles.
• Experience with IATF / ISO requirements.
• Strong communication and Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• Ability to motivate a team and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises Production Supervisors, Shift Superintendent and stamping operations team members to ensure timely completion of production and delivery schedules.
• Responsible for meeting production, quality and plant safety objectives.
• Monitors processes to ensure objectives are met and timetables kept.
• Works with support personnel to ensure material, quality, accounting, and personnel needs are met to avoid interruptions.
• Evaluates production requirements and determines production schedules.
• Identifies, implements and verifies continuous improvement opportunities.
• Follows work-in-process to assure work is proceeding satisfactorily.
• Maintains efficient and safe work practice procedures and facilities.
• Keeps abreast of safety requirements and developments to maintain an injury-free operation.
• Improves the abilities and knowledge of production personnel through instruction and training.
• Ensures compliance with all quality control standards and stays current with quality expectations.
• Participates in setting individual objectives through analysis of job functions.
• Understands and participates in HSE&E practices applicable to the role.
• Reports accidents, illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and enforces safety rules.
