Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Stamping Press Room Manager in Illinois to lead all press room production activities and ensure schedules, quality, and cost targets are met. The role requires directing supervisors and stamping teams, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe, efficient plant environment.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of stamping/press room leadership, experience with new program launches, and a proven track record in lean manufacturing with strong communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of stamping/press room leadership experience.
• Experience with New Program Launches.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
• Effective and professional communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills and decision making ability.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises Production Supervisors, Shift Superintendent and stamping team members to ensure timely completion of production and delivery schedules.
• Meet production, quality, and plant safety standards; monitor processes and timetables.
• Coordinate with support functions to ensure materials, quality, and personnel needs are met to avoid interruptions.
• Identify, implement, and verify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and drive a safe, efficient press room operation.
