Job summary

NorcomCT is seeking a detail‑oriented Staging Technician in Naugatuck, CT to prepare, configure, test, and document mission‑critical communications equipment before deployment to customers. You will be part of the Implementation Team, handling assembly, labeling, inventory, and project coordination to ensure systems are ready for field use.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical/electrical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, cable, label, asset tag, and configure communications equipment.
• Perform operational and functional testing; print labels and diagrams; verify deployment readiness.
• Document work performed and keep accurate records.
