Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Line Cook to prepare fresh foods for guests at our Orlando venue. You will work in buffet lines, slice meats, and prepare dishes to order, while maintaining strong attendance for events as needed.

This part-time role offers a salary range of $19.00–$22.00 per hour. Join a dynamic team at a premier live entertainment venue, where food service supports major events and world-class programming.

Qualifications

• Prior cook or prep cook experience preferred.
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment (broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, chef knife).
• Clear, respectful communication to foster a positive, cooperative work environment.
• Team-oriented in a fast-paced, event-driven setting.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, fresh food for guests in a timely manner.
• Prepare hot and cold foods following company recipes and portions.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure excellent service and delivery of product.
• Report maintenance needs for kitchen equipment.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking.
• Portion and garnish plates for delivery to guests.
• Consult with Executive/Sous Chef on menu planning and food consumption estimates.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance per company standards.
