Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated Staffing Specialist to join our growing team in a full-time, permanent internal role. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with background in sales, customer service, recruiting, or business development who want to build a career in staffing and workforce solutions.

You will recruit, screen, interview, onboard, source candidates, and develop relationships with clients and temporary staff while contributing to branch growth and achieving revenue

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or business development preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and temporary associates.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure employee satisfaction and successful placements.
• Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking efforts.
• Perform client service calls and outside sales visits to maintain and grow business partnerships.
• Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions for customers.
• Support branch operations through administrative and data entry tasks.
• Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention efforts.
• Resolve employee and client concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to overall revenue goals.
