Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated Staffing Specialist to join our team in a full-time, permanent internal position. This entry-level role supports sales and customer service, recruiting, and business development efforts to help place temporary staff with clients.

The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service, recruit and onboard candidates, and build client relationships while contributing to branch growth and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or business development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and temporary associates.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure employee satisfaction and successful placements.
• Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking efforts.
• Perform client service calls and outside sales visits to maintain and grow business partnerships.
• Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions for customers.
• Support branch operations through administrative and data entry tasks.
• Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention efforts.
• Resolve employee and client concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to overall revenue goals.
