Job summary

PeopleReady in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Staffing Specialist to support the Territory Manager by recruiting applicants, guiding candidates through the employment process, and matching workers to our customers' open positions.

You will also handle payroll for temporary workers, set appointments, meet with customers, and promote safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy variety and a chance to impact daily operations, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Customer service and/or sales experience.
• Possess effective people skills with the ability to relate to management and employees.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and multi-task effectively.
• Basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with customers and associates.
• Navigate multiple operating systems, including our ATS and JobStack.
• Enter inbound orders from new and existing customers into our system.
• Proactively recruit new applicants and match them with customers' open positions.
• Process payroll for our temporary workers in a timely manner.
• Promote a culture of safety by keeping safety and compliance top of mind.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.
