Job summary

Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital is seeking a Staffing Analyst to ensure timely scheduling and staffing balance for nursing departments. The role involves daily staffing, reporting to leadership, and maintaining schedule integrity across shifts, including weekends.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of staffing or scheduling experience, with familiarity in electronic time and attendance systems.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in staffing or scheduling.
• One-year experience with electronically‑automated time and attendance/scheduling system preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily with nursing department directors/managers to fill vacant positions and notifies when unable to obtain staff in a timely manner.
• Communicates staffing issues to leadership and compiles data for daily shift reports.
• Analyses data to identify opportunities for improvement in staffing and scheduling processes.
