Job summary

Kingwood Pines Hospital is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage facility scheduling, overtime tracking, productivity metrics, and related reporting. You will coordinate with Direct Supervisor and Human Resources to take corrective actions, coaching, and education, while ensuring accurate staffing levels and compliance with 1:1 and variance needs.

In this role, you will forecast staffing needs, observe acuity, and partner with Nurse Managers and units to adjust staffing and data provision

Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare scheduling experience in a clinical setting or administrative function.
• Current CPR certification (can be obtained on-site upon employment).
• Current HWC certification (can be obtained on-site upon employment).

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of tracking and reporting including overtime, productivity, tardiness, per diem requirements, and leave; coordinate with Direct Supervisor and HR.
• Responsible for staffing of the facility and tracking staffing levels with 1:1 and variance considerations.
• Collaborate with Nurse Managers, Supervisors and units to observe acuity and staffing needs and implement changes.
• Develop relationships with supervisors for processes, reporting and data provision to staff effectively across shifts.
• Forecast and succession planning of nursing department staffing.
