Job summary

Rennes Health & Rehab Center Rhinelander is seeking a Staffing Scheduler for Nursing Services to design and implement staffing patterns for nurses and nursing assistants. The role supports payroll scheduling, maintains attendance records, and acts as a back-up for the Staff Coordinator while coordinating with HR to ensure adequate coverage and timely staff actions when absences occur.

• Must possess sensitivity to employees' needs while balancing staffing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.
• Works with HR to advise staffing needs, terminations, and other information for smooth workflow.
• Maintains the scheduling system for bi-weekly payroll.
• Assists employees in accurate completion of forms for scheduling, including timecards and leave paperwork.
• Assists in securing staff for absences and adjusting schedules as required.
• Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, and absences, with recommendations.
• Documents employee calls regarding staffing and scheduling functions.
• Acts as a back up for Staff Coordinator role.
• Additional duties as assigned.
