Responsibilities

• Assists in recordkeeping and documentation of attendance and tardiness.
• Reviews complaints and grievances related to scheduling and staffing and reports to Staff Coordinator.
• Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.
• Works with HR/recruiting to advise on staffing needs, terminations, and other information for workflow.
• Maintains scheduling system for bi-weekly payroll.
• Assists employees in completing forms for scheduling, including timecards and leave paperwork.
• Assists in securing staff for absences and adjusts schedules as required.
• Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, and absences; recommends action.
• Documents employee calls regarding staffing and scheduling functions.
• Acts as a back up for Staff Coordinator role.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Duties/Responsibilities

• Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants
• Works with human resources/recruiting to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees
• Maintains the scheduling system for bi-weekly payroll
• Assists employees in accurate completion of forms pertinent to scheduling and staffing, including timecards, time off requests and leave of absence paperwork
• Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.
• Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action
• Documents employee calls regarding staffing and scheduling functions
• Acts as a back up for Staff Coordinator role
• Additional duties as assigned
