Job summary

Sonic Systems International is seeking a Staffing & Resource Manager – NDE in Wilmington, NC. This full-time in-office role oversees planning, staffing, scheduling, deployment, and utilization of NDE field personnel to meet customer projects and business goals.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, forecast workforce needs, and drive staffing strategies. Strong organizational, analytical, and relationship skills are essential to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years supporting NDE/NDT operations and certification programs.
• 2+ years of workforce planning, staffing, project coordination, or operations experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or employee management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workforce management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for NDE field personnel regarding assignments, mobilization, training, certifications, and workforce needs.
• Coordinate staffing and deployment based on qualifications, availability, and customer requirements.
• Forecast workforce needs and partner with operations, project managers, customers, and recruiting teams.
• Monitor utilization metrics and staffing efficiency; review time/expense submissions.
• Maintain workforce records, qualifications, and performance documentation.
• Support recruiting, hiring events, and employee development initiatives.
• Provide after-hours staffing support as required by commitments.
