Job summary

CompuNet, Inc. is seeking a Resource Specialist to deliver engineering workforce planning and resource management practices.

This role partners with leadership to provide visibility into capacity, demand, utilization, technical capabilities, and workforce readiness. Through data-driven planning, the specialist enables informed decisions on staffing, hiring, training, and resource investments that support customer delivery and business growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, IT, or related field.
3+ years resource planning/workforce planning experience.
5+ years total experience in operations, engineering, PMO, or workforce management.
Experience supporting technical teams in consulting, managed services or tech org.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
MS 365 tools proficiency (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI).
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean.

Responsibilities

Align opportunities, projects, and engagements with engineering resources based on skills and priorities.
Maintain visibility into engineer availability and project demands.
Monitor workload, capacity constraints, and delivery risks.
Provide leadership with recommendations on staffing and prioritization.
Coordinate between engineering teams and business stakeholders.
Develop resource management processes and reporting.
Support workforce development and training initiatives.
