Job summary

Swoon is seeking a Direct Hire Recruiter to join our Dallas team. You will own the full recruiting lifecycle for direct hire and permanent placements, partner with the sales team, and build strong pipelines through proactive outreach.

This role emphasizes high-volume, relationship-driven recruitment with uncapped commission potential. Ideal candidates are 1–3+ years in agency staffing, comfortable managing multiple searches, and experienced in engaging passive candidates.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of recruiting experience within a staffing agency environment.
• Hands-on direct hire/permanent placement recruiting experience required.
• Experience managing candidates through sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Strong sourcing skills and confidence engaging passive candidates.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and clients to fill direct hire and permanent roles.
• Own full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to placement.
• Build pipelines via LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Identify passive candidates and connect them with opportunities.
• Manage multiple searches with urgency and attention to detail.
• Develop relationships with candidates, clients, and teammates.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand needs and market insights.
• Drive recruiting activity, submissions, interviews, offers, and placements.
• Support contract recruiting when needed.

What You'll Do

• Partner closely with our sales team and clients to fill direct hire and permanent placement opportunities across a variety of professional skill sets.
• Own the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates through interviews, offer negotiations, and successful placements.
• Build strong pipelines of qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, and proactive outreach.
• Identify and engage passive candidates, understand their career motivations, and help connect them with the right opportunities.
• Manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Develop lasting relationships with candidates, clients, and internal teammates.
• Work closely with hiring managers and our sales team to understand client needs, provide market insights, and deliver strong candidates.
• Consistently work toward recruiting activity goals, candidate submissions, interviews, offers, and successful placements.
• Support occasional contract recruiting opportunities as business needs arise.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience while keeping the recruiting process moving efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• 1–3+ years of recruiting experience within a staffing agency environment.
• Hands-on experience with direct hire/permanent placement recruiting is required.
• Experience managing candidates through the full recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer stages.
• Strong sourcing skills and confidence engaging passive candidates.
• Experience recruiting for professional, corporate, technical, or specialized positions is a plus.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• A competitive, motivated personality with a strong desire to achieve goals and earn commission.
• Someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, building relationships, and proactively creating recruiting opportunities.
• Ability to manage multiple searches, prioritize effectively, and keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
• A team player who enjoys collaborating, sharing ideas, and celebrating wins together.
