Peninsula Post Acute is seeking an organized Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler to support our nursing department by creating and maintaining schedules, handling staffing changes, and keeping accurate employee records. You will collaborate with leadership to meet census needs and ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates have experience in scheduling within healthcare, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• Previous scheduling, staffing coordination, healthcare administration or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with leadership and staff.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain nursing department schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Serve as the primary contact for staffing needs, schedule changes, call-offs, and position availability.
• Maintain accurate employee records related to hiring, status changes, and separations.
• Assist staff with timecards, leave requests, schedule adjustments, and day-off requests.
• Partner with the Director of Nursing and Human Resources to support modified duty assignments and staffing needs.
• Track attendance, tardiness, call-offs, and staffing trends.
• Maintain current employee contact information and staffing records.
• Coordinate applicant inquiries and assist with interview scheduling.
• Ensure staffing practices align with facility policies, budget goals, and resident census needs.
• Support department operations with additional administrative duties as assigned.
