Job summary

LONG TERM HEALTHCARE is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure proper staffing at all times in the facility, meeting federal, state, and local regulations and census guidelines. You will maintain the master schedule, complete monthly and daily staffing records, assist payroll verification, and report hazards or equipment issues while upholding infection control and safety practices.

Strong communication with leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures adequate number of staff are scheduled at all times to meet Guest needs and regulations.
• Maintains master schedule and log of all clinical staff schedule worked hours.
• Assists payroll coordinator with accuracy and verification of all hours worked by nursing staff.
• Reports hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, accidents/incidents and supply issues to appropriate persons.
• Maintains infection control and standard precautions.
• Responds promptly to call lights and communicates with Guests, families and staff.
