Sullivan County is seeking a Full Time Staffing Coordinator to support the nursing department and ensure 24/7 staffing coverage for residents. The role involves scheduling, payroll review, and coordination with HR and DON within a county-funded facility.

The Staffing Coordinator provides responsible and confidential services for the nursing department. The primary function involves the scheduling of appropriate clinical staff insuring adequate coverage of nursing home residents on a 24 hour a day basis. Ancillary duties include overseeing transportation needs of residents, providing secretarial services to the Director of Nurses when needed.
A candidate for this position should be a high school graduate or equivalent, have a basic understanding of office maintenance and procedure. Organize and maintain records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Exceptional skills required in telephone techniques for providing and receiving information. Computer skills are required. Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with all levels of the organization to achieve optimal results.
