Job summary

Orchard Manor Inc. is seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our team. You will work with the Human Resources department to recruit, source, and hire qualified individuals, and you will design staffing plans and schedules for nursing staff including RN, LPN, and CNA roles.

You will also assist with onboarding, evaluations, and reporting for DON and NHA. You will collaborate across departments to ensure staffing needs are met, participate in screening and interviewing, and contribute

Qualifications

• Experience as a Staffing Coordinator or similar role.
• Knowledge of staffing trends and best practices.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy.
• Design and plan work shift schedules for RN, LPN and CNA staff.
• Create daily staffing assignments.
• Investigate staffing needs and staff accordingly with Nursing Administration.
• Identify hard-to-fill roles and take proactive actions.
• Assist in candidate screening and interviewing.
• Assist in new employee onboarding.
• Evaluate new staff and conduct orientation.
• Assist with yearly evaluations of nursing staff.
• Create, present and submit reports for DON and NHA as requested.
• Other duties as necessary.
